The campus recruiting team in Europe is growing, and the company is seeking a Quantitative Recruiter to join its Dublin headquarters. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys mathematical problem solving as well as building relationships with people.
The successful candidate will support hiring for Quantitative Research and Quantitative Systematic Trading internships and graduate programmes. In addition to interviewing and hiring, the role includes helping run the summer internship programme and using data to improve recruitment processes and hiring strategy. The team is also looking for someone who can bring new ideas and tools to strengthen the employer brand, widen the talent pipeline, and attract strong candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Interview and evaluate quantitative campus candidates using questions based on probability, statistics, and logic, while drawing on a strong mathematical foundation.
- Develop fresh approaches to expand campus recruiting efforts and reach high-potential students across universities in Europe.
- Maintain effective working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and interviewers throughout the recruitment journey.
- Represent the company at careers fairs, campus visits, and onsite recruitment events.
- Use data and analysis to guide hiring decisions and improve the efficiency and quality of the recruitment process.
- Support onboarding for successful hires and contribute to the coordination of summer internship and graduate programmes.
What the company is looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, physics, or computer science, with study in probability, statistics, and combinatorics.
- Prior experience with Excel is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic programming knowledge is an advantage.
- A strong willingness to learn how to assess students using quantitative concepts.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- A strong sense of urgency together with good emotional intelligence.
- Strategic thinking and solid analytical ability.
