Quality Inspector - Machined Metal Parts

About the Role

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in valve industry manufacturing who can proficiently manage computerized quality documentation related to final inspection and in-process quality controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate precision instruments such as bore dials, slip gauges, stick micrometers, and micrometers ranging from 0 to 400 mm.
• Conduct line and final inspections, perform job measurements, and maintain detailed reports.
• Communicate quality findings and reports with the client’s quality department via email.
• Coordinate with the calibration department for instrument upkeep.
• Prepare and update stage-wise reports aligning with process flow drawings.

Documentation and Quality Management

• Create and manage final inspection reports, material test certificates (3.1 MTC), part-wise balloon drawings, and other relevant documents.
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, tests, and corrective actions (CAPA).
• Develop quality documents based on customer process drawings in a stage-wise manner.
• Possess a foundational understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards, particularly quality and calibration documentation.
• Assist in preparing and auditing documents in compliance with ISO requirements.

Problem Solving and Communication

• Investigate quality discrepancies and implement corrective measures effectively.
• Communicate efficiently with cross-functional teams and stakeholders through telephone and email.

Additional Notes

In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 related to quality documentation is crucial for this role.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is INR 18,000 to INR 28,500 per month.
