About the Role

The Quality Insights Analyst acts as a key contributor within the Quality Insights team, focusing on analyzing product performance from the customer's perspective to promote a culture of quality. This role necessitates translating complex technical data into understandable insights for various audiences and collaborating across departments to influence product quality throughout its lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage data visualization techniques and descriptive statistics to integrate diverse data into clear, actionable insights for scalable reporting.
- Serve as the main liaison connecting cross-functional teams to drive improvements in product quality performance.
- Develop expertise regarding customer perceptions of Patagonia’s products and recommend enhancements.
- Communicate detailed findings effectively for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead independent projects that support product teams in enhancing product quality.
- Maintain regular communication through status reports, meetings, and documentation with relevant partners.
- Analyze data from various sources including returns, customer feedback, and manufacturing reports using SQL.
- Create and update dashboards monitoring quality metrics, defect patterns, and factory performance across multiple product categories.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in data analytics and visualization.
- Demonstrated ability collaborating cross-functionally with strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Basic understanding of quality concepts or product lifecycle, preferably within apparel or consumer goods sectors.
- Strong written and oral communication to translate data into actionable insights.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and motivated to continually improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Creative thinker who takes initiative and works independently.
- Knowledge of quality standards, apparel, and apparel manufacturing processes is advantageous.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $110,000 annually. Salary is determined based on market median benchmarks and varies according to experience and skill set. Patagonia offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement options, and leave policies, which may slightly differ depending on employment status.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role based in Ventura, CA, with an expected onsite schedule of Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on other days. Occasional extra onsite attendance may be required for team events or critical meetings.
