About the Role
The position of Quality Infection Control Nurse - Nursing Head involves overseeing nursing operations to maintain high standards of patient care and safety. The role requires leadership in managing nursing teams, coordinating with various medical departments, and enforcing quality control measures within healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the nursing team to deliver effective and efficient patient care.
- Develop and maintain nursing duty rosters and determine staffing needs accordingly.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance assessment for nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and different departments to ensure integrated patient care.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of nursing procedures.
- Ensure all nursing activities comply with hospital policies, standard operating procedures, and clinical protocols.
- Review patient records for accuracy and completeness.
- Detect gaps in quality and implement corrective and preventive measures to address them.
Experience Requirements
- Possess between 5 to 8 years of experience in nursing.
- Hold a minimum of 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or nursing leadership role.
- Preferably have experience related to healthcare quality assurance and audits.
