Role Overview

The Quality Control Analyst will carry out chemical and instrumental testing of pharmaceutical materials and finished goods, ensure data quality and compliance, and support laboratory operations in line with pharmaceutical quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical and instrumental testing of pharmaceutical samples.
  • Operate analytical equipment including HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, Dissolution Apparatus, and Karl Fischer Titrator.
  • Test raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples.
  • Prepare, standardize, and manage reagents, solutions, and reference standards.
  • Review analytical findings and produce test reports.
  • Keep laboratory logs, documentation, and records aligned with GMP and GDP expectations.
  • Handle investigations for out-of-specification results, out-of-trend findings, and laboratory deviations.
  • Assist with method validation, verification, and analytical method transfer activities.
  • Carry out calibration and routine maintenance of lab instruments according to SOPs.
  • Support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and internal audits.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP, GLP, data integrity, and safety standards.

The position is based in Guwahati, Mirza, Assam.
