An opportunity is available for a Quality and Regulatory Assurance Officer at the Airport site in Auckland. The role supports the delivery of quality activities for DHL Supply Chain (New Zealand) Limited, including product release, inspections, investigations, process improvements, and upkeep of the Quality Management System.
Key responsibilities
- Manage quality documentation for GxP-related work, including drafting and updating SOPs, manuals, forms, and related records.
- Deliver training on GxP, FSP, and associated quality processes.
- Support and lead the rollout of the electronic quality management system (ETQ), including document control, change requests, non-conformance handling, and user support.
- Carry out internal checks and investigations to identify process gaps and drive improvements.
- Track, guide, and assess improvement actions arising from the quality management system and non-conformance processes.
- Help maintain quality standards and ensure regulatory obligations are met.
- Ensure the business remains compliant with external regulatory, licensing, certifying, and accreditation requirements.
- Meet daily client quality needs, including product release and inspections when required.
- Handle selected team financial processes such as iProcure and invoice payments.
- Contribute to quality assurance projects.
- Support agency, quality control, and co-pack quality control teams in building capability and independence.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should bring a tertiary qualification in business or science, along with at least 2 years of experience in a quality assurance position. Exposure to warehousing and logistics will be an advantage.
You should also have basic administrative experience, a genuine interest in quality and healthcare good manufacturing practices, and a high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills are important, as is the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll need to be comfortable working to deadlines, prioritising tasks, using Excel, and producing data reports.
