Role Overview

The Quality and Compliance Administrator will support the expansion and enhancement of the Project Management Office (PMO). This position is responsible for maintaining and advancing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring adherence to standards such as CMMI, CMMC, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, and ISO 27001, and guaranteeing compliance within government contracts and IDIQ agreements. The role involves coordinating audits, managing compliance documentation, monitoring contractual obligations, standardizing governance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and advance the QMS by managing controlled documents, policies, procedures, templates, and SOPs.
  • Coordinate document reviews, control versions, approvals, and updates systematically.
  • Monitor and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure ongoing quality improvements.
  • Support the PMO governance framework and standardize processes for consistency.
  • Assist in managing compliance frameworks including CMMI, CMMC, ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and client-specific requirements.
  • Maintain repositories for evidence collection and compliance documents to ensure audit readiness.
  • Track remediation efforts and gap assessments to ensure compliance alignment.
  • Oversee government contract deliverables, reporting requirements, compliance calendars, and milestone tracking.
  • Facilitate various contract phases including startup, transition, and closeout activities while reviewing contractual implications on operations.
  • Monitor adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and Quality Control Plans for optimum contract performance.
  • Plan and execute internal audits; support external certification audits and track resolution of findings.
  • Prepare audit documentation and executive summaries for leadership review.
  • Review project documentation for completeness and quality, support governance reviews, and evaluate project health.
  • Maintain PMO standards, templates, and capture lessons learned to fuel ongoing improvements.
  • Develop reporting dashboards covering compliance, audits, certifications, contract performance, and PMO maturity levels.
  • Produce monthly executive reports highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Manage centralized compliance documentation repositories and ensure document retention policies are followed.

Qualifications

  • Three to seven years of relevant experience in PMO, Quality Assurance, Compliance, or Program Management.
  • Familiarity with government contract compliance requirements.
  • Highly proficient in organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating audits and compliance activities is essential.
  • Preferred expertise includes ISO standards, CMMI, CMMC, and NIST 800-171/800-53 compliance frameworks.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, or Smartsheet is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, self-motivation, and a focus on continuous process improvement.
