Qualified Early Years Educator - Term-time Only, 8am-3pm

About the Role and Employer

Pippa Pop-ins is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join their nursery team located in Fulham. The working hours for this position are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, exclusively during school term-time. Pippa Pop-ins is a well-established group of independent nursery schools known for maintaining traditional values and offering warm, nurturing environments that inspire children's enthusiasm for learning. This initiative is part of Little Dukes, a division of Dukes Education Group, dedicated to early childhood education across several locations in and around London.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard care and education to children aged between birth and five years old.
• Plan and execute activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) that are imaginative and stimulating.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and nurturing setting that encourages children's growth and learning.
• Conduct observations and assessments of children's development, identifying any concerns to address promptly.
• Work collaboratively with parents and colleagues to meet each child's unique needs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation regarding children's progress and development.
• Keep the nursery environment clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to protect all children in the setting.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of at least a Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification or an equivalent recognized qualification relevant to early years education.
• Previous nursery or childcare experience is essential.
• Exhibit patience, empathy, and a sincere passion for working with children.
• Strong understanding of child development theories and practical application.
• Capability to work efficiently within a team setting.
• Preferably hold current certification in Paediatric First Aid and CPR.
• Familiarity with childcare laws and safeguarding policies is necessary.
