About the Role and Workplace
Bupa Dental Care Wellington is seeking a passionate and committed GDC registered Dental Nurse to join their welcoming and professional team. This full-time role involves working 39.25 hours weekly on a set schedule: Monday to Thursday from 08:45 to 17:30, and Friday from 07:45 to 17:00. The practice offers contemporary facilities, a friendly atmosphere and a strong community spirit, fostering skill development and meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues.
Primary Duties
- Provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and assist with daily procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
- Maintain and update digital patient records accurately.
- Prepare and manage instruments through proper decontamination processes.
- Perform some reception and administrative tasks as necessary.
- Deliver exceptional patient care with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Preferably experienced in dental nursing roles.
- Ability to adhere to professional regulations and protocol.
