Job description

Role Overview

We are working with a major international facilities management business operating across security, cleaning, aviation, and wider facilities services in Ireland. They are looking to bring in an experienced Qualified Accountant on a contract basis to support the finance team in Dublin.

Contract Details

  • Location: Dublin, Ireland, with onsite work required.
  • Contract length: 6 months, with the possibility of being extended.
  • Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Pay rate: €26.50 to €28.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and related financial reporting.
  • Carry out monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  • Support operational teams across the business with finance-related guidance.
  • Maintain adherence to finance procedures, policies, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Contribute to statutory reporting and assist during the external audit cycle.
  • Review financial results and turn them into useful insights for business decision-making.
  • Take part in finance improvement initiatives and other projects as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Professionally qualified accountant holding ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Background in an accountant role or a similar finance position.
  • Demonstrated experience with management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, planning, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment.
  • Must already have the legal right to work in Ireland.
