- Track and manage the stock and status of materials needed for analysis.
- Where qualified, check and verify results produced by other analysts against requirements.
- Enter data accurately into the LIMS system.
- Review laboratory test outcomes and complete batch analysis close-out activities.
- Meet target timelines, update visibility tools, and share testing progress during meetings.
- Keep laboratories clean, orderly, and maintained to a high housekeeping standard.
- Produce and maintain accurate lab records, delivering work right first time and on schedule.
- Prepare and update required documentation such as SOPs, methods, and reports.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to meet and exceed customer expectations and support client and SGS KPIs relating to investigations, training, productivity, and on-time testing.
- Escalate and document any atypical or aberrant results, including related investigations, to the relevant contact.
- Take the lead on laboratory investigations and deviations when needed.
- Help maintain a safe workplace that remains audit ready at all times.
- Identify and help implement improvements in safety, environmental performance, quality, and service.
- Work with your manager on personal development and career progression.
