Overview
CBH Homes is looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join a fast-moving, service-oriented IT team. This group values speed, friendliness, and a positive attitude while keeping technology dependable for the wider organization. In this role, you will be the main person helping users resolve day-to-day technology issues, supporting secure and reliable systems, and contributing to continuous improvements in IT service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first contact for end users and provide courteous tier-1 support for hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
- Partner with senior IT staff to help maintain networks, servers, and cloud-based tools across Windows, macOS, and Google Workspace environments.
- Handle basic user setup tasks, including account provisioning, password resets, and access requests in Active Directory and related identity systems.
- Support the device lifecycle by imaging laptops, preparing workstations, and helping with software deployment and installation.
- Draft, refine, and maintain internal documentation and step-by-step guides for common IT workflows.
- Work across departments to deliver a smooth, reliable, and service-focused technology experience.
Requirements
- Between 0 and 2 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk, or a customer-facing IT role.
- Working knowledge of operating systems such as Windows and/or macOS, along with basic networking principles.
- Exposure to common workplace platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or Salesforce.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve problems across different IT areas.
- Well-organized, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that changes often.
- Clear communication skills, a service-first approach, and a good sense of humor.
- Preferred: an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent coursework/bootcamp experience.
- Preferred: relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or Google IT Support Professional.
- Preferred: familiarity with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Preferred: experience with mobile device management platforms such as Intune or JAMF.
