Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable QA analyst to join the team working on 'Structure for Jira', one of our flagship products. This role involves ensuring top-tier software quality within an agile environment that prioritizes working software over detailed documentation, using tools like mind maps, checklists, and collaborative techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and plan testing activities including iteration and release scheduling.
• Conduct requirement validation, performance, compatibility, and integration testing at the system level.
• Perform both exploratory and scripted testing across all products.
• Manage and prioritize issue triage effectively.
• Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, development, QA peers, and technical writing.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum two years of experience in software testing.
• Strong background in manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in checklist creation and application for testing processes.
• Experience testing web applications focusing on business logic, usability, and user interfaces.
• Basic understanding of HTTP methods such as GET and POST and foundational knowledge of XSS vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Practical experience using Jira and Confluence.
