Publishing Sales Executive

Overview

24by7 Publishing is seeking a dedicated Publishing Sales Executive to join their office-based team in Kolkata (Mahajati Nagar, Birati, near Airport Gate No. 1). This role centers on selling publishing services through phone, email, and video conferencing, targeting authors globally. Door-to-door sales are not part of the position.

Experience and Role Details

• Required experience: 5 to 10 years in premium sales or consulting roles.
• Compensation: Base salary of ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month, with an average incentive of ₹5,000.
• Work location: Office premises in Kolkata.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

• Fluent verbal communication in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
• Excellent proficiency in either English or Hindi is a strict requirement.
• Professional demeanor with polite communication and a highly presentable appearance for video calls.
• Comfortable using MS Word, Excel or Google Sheets, Google Workspace, and fundamental AI tools.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Possession of a polished, neutral, or US/UK accent to engage effectively with international authors.
• A genuine passion for literature and familiarity with the publishing industry.
