About the Role
Gryffin Capitalist is seeking a full-time Public Relations Officer (PRO) based in Dubai, UAE, to manage government relations and operational duties that support the company's expanding sales processes. The PRO will coordinate internally and externally to handle client applications, ensuring strict compliance with due diligence and timely renewals of licenses, visas, medical checks, Emirate IDs, and labor permits.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the company's public image and communications with the public, media, clients, and government bodies.
- Facilitating visa processing, work permits, trade license issuance, and handling legal documentation.
- Engaging with ministries and government authorities to secure approvals and complete various procedural requirements.
- Representing the company at government locations such as police stations, free zones, labor departments, and immigration offices.
- Building and sustaining excellent working relations with government entities including MOHRE, Dubai Economy, Labor, and Immigration departments.
- Staying informed about current legal guidelines and adapting processes to ministry updates.
- Maintaining confidentiality over client documents.
- Handling Ministry of Labor complaints and immigration-related issues for clients.
- Managing issuance and cancellation processes of employment visas and work permits for expatriate staff and their dependents.
- Tracking government paperwork related to visas, company renewals, and cancellations.
- Liaising with UAE Immigration to obtain business entry visas for international visitors.
- Calculating and processing final settlements in compliance with company policy and legal regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in any field.
- Proven experience in a PRO position dealing with Dubai authorities (Mainland & Freezone).
- Comprehensive understanding of UAE immigration laws and government regulations.
- Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced with government systems and documentation management.
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
- Familiarity with UAE Labor Law is advantageous.
- Ability to smoothly navigate updates in governmental policies and procedures.
Additional Information
Candidates must be based in Dubai and willing to directly liaise with various government bodies. Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive documentation are mandatory. The role demands maintaining strong relationships with key regulatory entities and managing critical compliance activities that support business operations.
