Overview

Hyatt Place AlUla is preparing for opening, and the team is hiring a Public Area & Turndown – Rooms Housekeeping colleague to help launch the property. The hotel is an important part of Hyatt’s growth in the region and will include 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting areas, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre designed for both leisure and business guests.

Role Summary

In this position, you will keep the hotel’s public spaces spotless and visually appealing while also delivering evening turndown service in guest rooms. Your work will help ensure guest comfort, cleanliness, and a consistently high level of satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Keep all shared hotel spaces clean and well maintained, including corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and back-of-house areas.
  • Make sure public zones remain tidy, hygienic, and in line with the hotel’s presentation standards.
  • Carry out evening turndown service in guest rooms following the approved housekeeping process.
  • Prepare rooms for the night by replenishing amenities, straightening the space, and enhancing guest comfort.
  • Handle guest housekeeping requests quickly and professionally.
  • Escalate repair needs and any safety concerns to the appropriate teams.
  • Use cleaning tools and chemicals correctly and safely.
  • Restock supplies in public areas and on guest floors when needed.
  • Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness throughout every shift.
  • Assist with pre-opening housekeeping preparation and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in housekeeping, public area cleaning, or turndown service, ideally in a hotel environment.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning routines and housekeeping quality standards.
  • Strong eye for detail and a clear commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ability to perform well in a busy, fast-moving setting.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Physical capability to complete cleaning and turndown tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Very good English communication skills.

Eligibility

Candidates with relevant housekeeping, public area, or turndown experience and the physical ability to perform the duties are encouraged to apply. Hotel experience is preferred.

Additional Information

This role supports a pre-opening hotel environment and includes both public area cleaning and evening turndown duties. The property is located in Saudi Arabia.
