Public Area Cleaner / Housekeeper - Multiple Shifts Available

Job Overview

At Kingfisher Country Estate, located at 10 Paradise Walk in Templepatrick, Northern Ireland, we seek diligent Public Area Cleaners dedicated to preserving impeccable cleanliness standards throughout our hotel. This role also includes supporting the room attendants as necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all public spaces and spa changing rooms to exemplary standards.
• Provide assistance to housekeeping staff with room cleaning tasks when required.
• Follow procedures related to lost property management carefully.
• Address customer service issues promptly and effectively.
• Safely manage master keys entrusted to you.
• Carry out routine deep cleaning activities, including monthly deep cleans and carpet shampooing.
• Report any maintenance concerns to the Maintenance or Engineering Department without delay.
• Regularly inspect public areas and restrooms, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Adhere rigorously to hotel security protocols, fire safety, and health and safety legislation.
• Perform additional reasonable duties assigned by hotel management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum six months' experience in cleaning roles.
• Strong communication abilities.
• A commitment to upholding excellent customer service standards.
• Immaculate personal grooming.
• Capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Applicants must be aged 18 years or older.
• Willingness to work shifts across all seven days of the week.
• Availability for early morning shifts starting at 6:00 AM and evening shifts that may extend until midnight.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in similar roles or within the hospitality industry is advantageous.
