Job Overview

Join the housekeeping team at Kingfisher Country Estate, part of Loughview Leisure Group, located in Templepatrick, Northern Ireland. As the hotel undergoes refurbishment, we are expanding our team to include housekeepers for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts throughout the week. Our scheduling is flexible to accommodate personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all guest bedrooms, corridors, function rooms, and public areas.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including changing bed linens, replacing towels, thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, damp mopping, and dusting. Also responsible for deep cleaning rooms and upkeep of vacant rooms.
• Replenish brochures, paper goods, and consumable items throughout the hotel.
• Manage laundry, storerooms, and housekeeping carts or carry-trays to ensure efficiency.
• Handle guest laundry collection, billing, and prompt return.
• Secure and log lost property items left by guests.
• Report guest complaints or problems to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor promptly.
• Coordinate maintenance requests to uphold hotel quality standards and guest satisfaction.
• Inform supervisors about additional supply needs.
• Attend on-the-job and external training programs as required.
• Comply with uniform and badge policies, always maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Practice the hotel's customer service standards, including polite guest interaction and appropriate guidance.
• Perform other duties reasonably assigned by management or housekeeping leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Solid communication skills.
• Education equivalent to GCSE in English and Maths.
• Ability to meet deadlines effectively.
• Previous cleaning experience is essential.
• Preferred: Minimum of six months experience in hotel housekeeping.

• Salary range from £8.50 to £12.75 per hour.
