Job description

Role Overview

As a Psychologist at Lifemark Health Group's Mental Health Program & Services in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, you will work on-site within a collaborative environment. We offer a substantial $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time permanent positions. The setting includes in-person clinical services with options for salaried or fee-for-service employment, suitable for both part-time and full-time roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and group psychological treatments targeting conditions such as anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment, and interpersonal challenges, all within the client’s psychosocial context.
  • Create new mental health program content tailored to meet specific needs of diverse client groups.
  • Incorporate innovative approaches to mental health service delivery, including the use of adjunct digital therapeutic tools.
  • Apply assessment expertise across multiple applications, ranging from pre-employment suitability evaluations for high-risk roles to diagnostic assessments that inform treatment and psychosocial support.
  • Consult and collaborate with other mental health professionals and interdisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Participate in internal training programs and case discussions across disciplines.
  • Support the evaluation of program outcomes on provincial and national scales.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensed registration in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
  • Individual professional liability insurance must be in place at the start of employment.
  • Experience working within interdisciplinary teams and engaging with third-party payers.
  • Proficiency in performing psychological assessments of adults for multiple objectives, including treatment planning.
  • Strong grounding in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral treatments.
  • Program development and evaluation experience is an advantage.
  • Background in workplace injury cases is beneficial.
  • Knowledge or experience using telehealth and virtual care modalities considered a plus.
