About the Role
Moline Investment Management (MIM) / Moline Management, LLC is among the Midwest’s most active multifamily property management organizations. The company is hiring full-time Apartment Managers to support the day-to-day performance of multifamily and senior living communities across Missouri and Nebraska.
This position suits someone who is highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable interacting with residents while also working independently. Strong communication abilities and solid computer skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and maintain a large amount of documentation connected to income-based housing programs.
- Follow Housing Authority rules carefully and meet all reporting deadlines.
- Set up and maintain accurate, efficient recordkeeping systems.
- Review applicants, including credit and background screening.
- Help bring in new residents through marketing initiatives, property tours, and referrals from the community.
- Coordinate leasing activities and related transactions.
- Enforce lease terms, collect rent on time, and uphold property policies.
- Oversee maintenance personnel and help manage repair and renovation work.
- Respond to resident concerns and assist in resolving community matters.
- Complete administrative duties and basic bookkeeping in property management software, including tracking rent payments and other rental activity.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable taking initiative and working with minimal supervision.
- Well organized, goal-oriented, and able to manage deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including phone and face-to-face interaction.
- Confident using computers, especially Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn business software quickly.
- Experience in property management and familiarity with programs such as LIHTC and HOME is helpful, though not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay will depend on the location, experience, and overall qualifications of the selected candidate. The role follows a 40-hour workweek and includes benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, and paid time off.
