Role Overview
AlphaX is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead real estate development, custom residential construction, and investment-focused projects based in Charlotte, NC. This position suits a candidate with solid experience managing construction and development projects, handling everything from initial planning stages to final completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee real estate development and residential building projects from conception to finish.
- Coordinate activities among subcontractors, vendors, consultants, suppliers, inspections, and maintain project timelines.
- Evaluate plans, scopes, budgets, contracts, schedules, and project specifications to ensure alignment.
- Monitor project progress including costs, deadlines, change orders, and important deliverables.
- Maintain consistent communication with ownership, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Assist in permitting processes, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and compiling project documentation.
- Early identification of delays, site issues, budget concerns, or coordination challenges.
- Resolve obstacles effectively while upholding schedule integrity, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
- Keep detailed, organized records including updates, meeting minutes, and communication logs.
- Act as a professional representative for AlphaX when interacting with project partners, clients, and local stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of three years' project management experience in construction, real estate development, residential building, or similar sectors.
- Preference for candidates familiar with custom home builds, residential developments, land development, or multifamily projects.
- Strong grasp of construction scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and project documentation.
- Proficient in interpreting construction plans, scopes of work, contracts, schedules, and related documents.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with ownership, clients, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude with capability to independently drive projects forward.
- Comfortable working both in office settings and on active construction sites.
- Residency in or reliable commuting access to Charlotte, NC projects.
- Possession of valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
