Overview

AlphaX is looking for a skilled Project Manager to direct oilfield services projects focusing on wellhead, production, completions, and associated field operations. This pivotal position requires managing projects from initial planning through to completion while upholding safety standards, efficiency, scheduling, budget control, and fostering strong communication with clients and teams in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple oilfield service projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet safety, quality, timing, and budgetary goals.
  • Act as the main liaison between customers, field supervisors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Create project schedules, coordinate allocation of labor and equipment, and make resource adjustments according to operational needs.
  • Supervise field operations including wellhead services, valve maintenance, torque and testing, production assistance, completions, and related tasks.
  • Manage coordination among field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to guarantee efficiency in project execution.
  • Track and control project costs, utilization of labor and equipment, and overall project outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to client requirements, company policies, and safety regulations throughout project delivery.
  • Identify and manage project risks, troubleshoot field challenges, and reduce operational delays.
  • Prepare and deliver project progress updates, financial summaries, and completion reports to management and clients.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to boost project execution and enhance customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ experience managing oil and gas projects, particularly in upstream field services.
  • Background in managing projects related to wellhead, production, completions, or similar upstream operations.
  • Demonstrated capability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
  • Previous employment in oilfield service companies, contractors, or field service providers is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of upstream oilfield operations, equipment, and industry safety protocols.
  • Ability to interpret technical plans, specifications, and documentation accurately.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
  • Proven accountability for complete project execution from planning through to final delivery; candidates with only coordination or administrative support experience will not be considered.
