Project Manager

Role Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a partner associated with Haystack for the position of Project Manager based in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. The successful candidate will take the lead in managing and coordinating detailed analysis and documentation of business needs and system requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the examination and documentation of both business and system requirements.
• Organize and moderate workshops and discussions involving stakeholders, IT architects, and developers.
• Convert business needs into clear functional and non-functional specifications while maintaining traceability.
• Engage actively in Agile and Scrum processes such as sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Provide mentorship to Requirements Engineers, promoting best practices and ongoing professional growth.
• Enhance processes, tools, and standards related to requirements management continuously.

Qualifications and Skills

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least seven years’ experience in Requirements Engineering, Business Analysis, or System Analysis within complex IT settings.
• In-depth understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks with practical experience in agile product teams.
• Familiarity with collaboration and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Competence in requirements modeling techniques like UML and BPMN; certification from IREB is advantageous.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills in English, minimum B2 level; German language skills at B2 level or willingness to learn are considered beneficial.
