Job Overview
The Project Manager will direct a team consisting of consultants, contractors, and developers to manage daily onsite activities effectively. Responsibilities include conducting project briefings and kickoff meetings and overseeing timely submission of progress reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the project team in daily site operations
- Facilitate project briefings and initiate kick-off meetings
- Prepare and deliver periodic progress reports
- Review master programme and track work advancement
- Estimate costs and oversee progress claims, interim certificates, and payment responses
- Identify potential delays and implement preventive or corrective measures
- Manage submissions and approvals from relevant authorities
- Support documentation tasks and advise clients on contract awards
- Inspect the safety management system and conduct regular safety checks
- Perform feasibility studies and offer recommendations regarding development concepts, preliminary schedules, and budgets
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the built environment sector
- Strong understanding of project management procedures across all project phases
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
