About the Role
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising projects remotely within the United States. This role requires managing complex marketing initiatives from start to finish, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery while maintaining high standards of quality. You will collaborate closely with account, creative, editorial, and production teams to coordinate workflows, align goals, and proactively address risks or obstacles. This position suits a professional who excels in bringing structure to dynamic projects and delivering excellent client results in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising projects from conception through to completion, ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and workflow processes to facilitate seamless execution.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including account management, creatives, editorial, and production to ensure priorities and objectives remain aligned.
- Conduct internal meetings to promote clear communication and provide consistent status updates to all project participants.
- Track project progress, identify potential issues or bottlenecks early, and implement effective solutions to keep projects on course.
- Manage project documentation and quality assurance activities to confirm outputs meet client expectations.
- Support budgeting, resource distribution, and workload management across multiple projects concurrently.
- Encourage collaboration, accountability, and continuous process improvements within project teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience managing projects from planning through delivery.
- Strong multitasking skills to handle multiple projects and diverse stakeholders simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project or workflow management software tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and coordination between teams.
- Demonstrated capability to proactively identify risks and resolve challenges to maintain timelines.
- Preferred experience within an advertising agency setting.
- Highly desirable background supporting pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or medical communications clients.
- Familiarity with digital, print, and broadcast production workflows considered a plus.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach able to thrive in fast-moving environments.
