Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated success managing medium-sized projects with strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, planning, and development capabilities.
- Experience overseeing budgets with sound financial acumen.
- Strong stakeholder communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies and construction sequencing.
- Established skills in negotiation and client-focused delivery.
- Capacity to handle internal budgets and fees to meet agreed results.
- Experienced in construction phase project delivery.
- Relevant professional accreditations (e.g., MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE, or local equivalents).
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, construction-related fields, or equivalent experience.
- Possession of a valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card or local equivalent.
Preferred Attributes
- Membership in professional bodies such as RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent.
- Proven track record delivering projects and programs in project management sectors.
- Familiarity with property or infrastructure project management.
- Advanced commercial and financial understanding.
- Experience leading segments of projects within diverse, large teams.
- Established relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of sustainability and carbon considerations influencing projects.
- Expertise in sector-specific technical and regulatory frameworks, including health and safety standards.
- Knowledge across consultancy, construction, infrastructure, property sectors including estimating, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and reporting.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for improved work practices and service differentiation.
- Effective at managing project stakeholders and fostering internal and external relationships through advanced communication skills.
- Problem-solving proficiency in planning, estimating, contracts administration, and procurement challenges.
- Strong commercial skills including proposal and project workbook development.
- Embodiment of Mace’s core values and behaviors.
