This role offers the chance to contribute to a major new airport construction project in Saudi Arabia, projected to become a global standard for aviation experience with a capacity to serve 120 million passengers by 2030.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the construction inspection program across all ongoing work packages, ensuring inspection activities are thoroughly planned, adequately staffed, and conducted with the necessary rigor and frequency.
• Define and uphold construction quality standards, codes, and specifications fully aligned with contract obligations and relevant aviation and regulatory standards.
• Lead and supervise a team of inspectors and quality engineers, establishing inspection protocols, competency levels, and performance targets for various disciplines and work packages.
• Direct the process for handling non-conformances, including prompt identification, root cause analysis, corrective measures, and resolution of quality concerns identified on site.
• Hold contractors and subcontractors accountable for workmanship quality, conformance of materials, and compliance with approved procedures and inspection plans.
• Facilitate quality review meetings and inspection escalation sessions, delivering detailed reports on inspection coverage, defect patterns, and compliance status to senior program management.
• Conduct audits of contractors' quality management systems and site quality control activities; promote ongoing improvements through training, awareness of standards, and sharing lessons learned with site teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 20 years of experience in construction quality assurance, inspection, or standards enforcement, including leadership roles on substantial capital projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects such as airports or transportation, with a focus on enforcing quality standards and ensuring contractor compliance.
• Experience working within a Program Management Office or in a Business Enablement quality capacity on significant programs is highly valued.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree specializing in Quality Management is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CQI/IRCA, CMQ/OE, or similar quality or engineering credentials are beneficial.
