Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Project General Manager to lead and manage our Saudi project company through both construction and operational stages. This role demands complete accountability for the company's performance and achieving annual operational goals as set by the parent group.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Saudi project company’s operations and construction phases, ensuring achievement of yearly operational targets and overall company results.
- Maintain regular, transparent communication with group headquarters, delivering updates on operations progress, challenges, solutions, team development, and related critical information.
- Lead the company's team by breaking down annual objectives into departmental targets and driving their accomplishment.
- Organize and chair regular management meetings to allocate resources efficiently and coordinate activities across different departments.
- Continuously optimize resource distribution to minimize operational expenses.
- Guarantee safety in production and operations, aiming for zero tolerance of major safety incidents.
- Foster and maintain strong relations with local partners, stakeholders, clients, and external entities to sustain a supportive environment for company growth.
- Identify and leverage available resources to expand business opportunities and improve operational outcomes.
- Implement the group’s business philosophy, core values, and management systems fostering a structured, positive organizational culture that facilitates effective operations.
- Develop the professional skills of team members and enhance the company’s talent pool for future needs.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the group headquarters.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher with no strict limitation on the field of study.
- Have at least 8 years of experience managing public utility operations; preference given to candidates with engineering project construction management experience.
- Hold a minimum of 2 years’ senior management experience in international or overseas projects.
- Demonstrate high ethical standards, proactive attitude, excellent team leadership, and overall management capabilities.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills including communication, coordination, analytical thinking, problem solving, as well as expertise in external affairs and strategic decision making.
- Fluency in English is required; basic computer literacy is essential.
- Be prepared and willing to relocate overseas for an extended period.
