Position Overview
The Marketing and Communications team is seeking a Project Coordinator for Marketing Communications and Events. This temporary, full-time role, lasting about 90 days with the potential for a permanent position afterward, involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners to manage marketing projects and events remotely within the Continental US.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead management and troubleshooting of Cvent registration systems for all GreenBlue events.
- Oversee the Event Technology Stack including RSVP systems, event applications, website updates, and webinars.
- Assist the Associate Director of Marketing Communications with executing the organization's social media strategy.
- Support external marketing partnership activities as directed by the Associate Director.
- Coordinate with AV vendors, preparing necessary materials and managing timelines.
- Support logistical and procurement activities related to events.
- Create social media graphics and accompanying copy to promote speakers and sponsors.
- Participate actively onsite during GreenBlue events as part of the communications team.
- Provide additional support to the marketing communications team as needed.

- Interest in developing and implementing digital marketing tactics.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Enjoys collaborative teamwork within dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- Adaptable and flexible, skilled in both planning and onsite event delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or event management plus at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in a comparable role, or an equivalent combination.
- Background in nonprofit organizations preferred.
- Proven experience in event logistics and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient with Cvent registration systems and event technologies.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Canva, and other event-related software including slide deck management.
- Familiarity with Clickup is advantageous.
- Website management experience, especially with Wordpress.
- Skilled in cultivating and managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
- Competent in writing both long-form and short-form event marketing copy.
- Track record of promoting creativity and professional development.
- Experienced working in matrixed organizations handling multiple projects.
Additional Information
The position is temporary, approximately 90 days, with potential for a full-time role based on organizational discretion. The work is fully remote within the Continental US. Performance reviews will occur at 30 and 60 days.
