Job Overview

A leading interior fit-out firm in Dubai is looking for a Project Coordinator to support its project delivery teams. In this role, you will act as the main link between the design office, site execution staff, vendors, and clients so that work is completed on schedule, with the expected quality, and in line with compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in building project plans, master timelines, and detailed short-term schedules for fit-out works.
• Coordinate every day with design teams, site engineers, MEP teams, procurement staff, and client contacts to keep work aligned.
• Monitor material submittals, shop drawing approvals, RFIs, and delivery timelines with suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare and share daily and weekly progress updates, manpower reports, and management information reports.
• Maintain and update all project records, including drawings, minutes of meetings, permits, inspection requests, and snagging logs.
• Join client meetings, internal review sessions, and safety discussions, then document and distribute the meeting minutes.
• Track site progress against the approved plan, flag slippages early, and help drive issue resolution.

Requirements

• A diploma or B.E. in Civil, Architecture, Interior Design, or a similar field is required.
• Applicants should have 2 to 4 years of UAE/GCC experience in interior fit-out, joinery, or commercial construction projects.
• Working knowledge of interior finishes, MEP coordination, BOQ, and UAE construction standards is expected.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office, MS Project or Primavera P6, and AutoCAD is needed; basic Revit knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, vendor follow-up, multitasking, and reporting abilities are essential.
• A valid UAE residence visa is preferred, and candidates currently employed in the UAE should have a transferable visa or NOC.
