Role Overview
Join us as a Production Technician where you will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth and efficient manufacturing processes. This hands-on position involves operating and troubleshooting production equipment, ensuring product quality, and supporting production flow, all contributing directly to the success of our major brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, assemble products, and ensure continuous production flow.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols to foster a safe working environment for everyone.
- Uphold high-quality standards by following GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Defense procedures rigorously.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and execute proper functioning of processing and filling machinery, including end-of-line equipment.
- Operate process control computer systems, identify issues, and manage operational monitoring.
- Contribute to the development of SOPs, checklists, and work instructions when required.
- Accurately complete all manufacturing documentation, reports, log sheets, and batch records promptly.
- Perform cleaning duties following sanitary protocols and maintain a hygienic workplace.
- Conduct product testing as per SOPs and maintain compliance with Good Documentation Practices.
- Carry out assigned maintenance and cleaning of manufacturing equipment.
- Disassemble and assemble production machinery correctly as part of maintenance activities.
- Exercise independent judgment while collaborating effectively within team settings.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification of NITEC or Diploma in relevant fields; alternatively, GCE N, O, or A Levels in sciences, technical, health, or food manufacturing disciplines.
- Attention to detail with experience documenting tasks meticulously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to complete tasks within deadlines.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift weights of 15 to 20 kilograms as required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts and commute to Tuas (transport is provided from various MRT stations).
