Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our production team in Christchurch as a production and assembly line worker. The position involves assembling components and hardware for residential and industrial sectional garage doors. Working hours are afternoon shifts Monday to Thursday from 2:30 pm to 12 am and Friday from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, with optional overtime on Saturdays when needed. Training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly tasks involving general assembly of garage door components and hardware.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced team members for guidance and support.
  • Adhere strictly to safety requirements, including mandatory use of personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and helmets.
  • Engage consistently in varied physical tasks ensuring productivity throughout shifts.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Physical capability to safely lift items weighing up to 20kg.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a close-knit team.
