Production Supervisor - Interior Fit Out

Role overview

We are looking for a seasoned Production Supervisor with hands-on expertise in interior fit-out and custom joinery for luxury villas. This role focuses on leading factory production, maintaining premium workmanship, using resources effectively, and ensuring custom furniture, joinery, and fit-out components are delivered on schedule.

What you will do

• Oversee day-to-day activity across the joinery and fit-out production facility.
• Build, coordinate, and track manufacturing plans so project timelines are achieved.
• Direct the production of made-to-order furniture, doors, wardrobes, wall cladding, kitchens, vanities, and other bespoke joinery items for luxury villa work.
• Work closely with design, technical, procurement, and project teams to keep execution running smoothly.
• Check shop drawings and production drawings before fabrication begins.
• Maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing cycle and ensure output matches project specifications.
• Guide and supervise carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and other factory staff.
• Allocate labor, machines, and raw materials in a way that improves productivity.
• Spot production bottlenecks and take corrective action without compromising quality or efficiency.
• Inspect completed items regularly before they are sent to site.
• Make sure factory practices follow health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Monitor production progress and share updates with management on a regular basis.

Requirements

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Interior Design, Wood Technology, or a similar discipline is required.
• Applicants should have 5–8 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out production, with strong exposure to luxury villa projects.
• Solid knowledge of custom joinery processes, woodworking machinery, and finishing methods is essential.
• Prior experience in delivering upscale residential interiors and bespoke furniture is needed.
• You must be able to read and understand technical drawings, shop drawings, and production details.
• A strong grasp of materials such as solid wood, veneer, laminate, stone, metal, and premium finishes is necessary.
• Proven ability to manage factory teams and juggle several projects at the same time is important.
• Good organization, leadership, and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Experience in the UAE or GCC on luxury villa fit-out projects is preferred.
• Exposure to premium residential developers and high-net-worth clients is an advantage.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and production planning systems is preferred.
