About the Role
This Ormeau-based manufacturing position is for an organised, practical Production Scheduler who can manage end-to-end production planning across a busy site. The appointment is a 12 to 14 month maternity leave contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
You will be responsible for aligning labour, materials, and equipment so production can meet customer demand, delivery commitments, and operational targets in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full production schedule, from planning stage through to day-to-day execution.
- Create short-range production plans and update them quickly as priorities change.
- Match customer demand against labour availability, machine capacity, and material supply.
- Work closely with teams across Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse.
- Keep ERP system records accurate, including BOMs, routings, and work orders in SAP or a comparable platform.
- Help maintain DIFOT performance and flag any effects on delivery timeframes.
About You
You should bring experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing setting, along with strong systems knowledge and the ability to work confidently under pressure.
Working Hours
The role operates from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Contract Details
This is a maternity leave contract lasting 12 to 14 months, with the chance of moving into a permanent role.
