Role overview

Severn Trent Services, the commercial division of Severn Trent Group, is hiring a Water Hygiene Operative to support the Dartford area. The position focuses on legionella control and water treatment activities while delivering a strong standard of customer care and keeping health and safety compliance at the forefront.

Key duties

  • Carry out visits across multiple sites in different locations within the assigned area.
  • Perform monitoring and related tasks in accordance with ACoP L8 requirements when needed.
  • Offer technical support to customers and colleagues where it is required.
  • Complete hazard and risk assessments for individual sites as needed.
  • Work safely in the field and maintain high safety standards at all times.

Working arrangement

This is a home-based role with travel across the allocated region in a company van. A full UK driving licence is essential.

What you should bring

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in TMV servicing, a working knowledge of domestic and industrial water systems, and confidence using computers and smartphones.
