Production Operations Trainee

About the Role

Join the Commercial Vehicle Control Systems manufacturing facility in Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu, Chennai, as a Production Operations Trainee. This role involves operating production and assembly equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage production and assembly machinery in compliance with SOPs.
• Carry out precise assembly of automotive parts.
• Conduct visual inspections and quality control checks on completed components.
• Achieve daily production goals without compromising on quality standards.
• Adhere to 5S methodology, Lean Manufacturing principles, and maintain safety protocols.
• Report any machinery faults, defects, or irregular conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Document production metrics accurately and maintain related records.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and ensure cleanliness of the workspace.
• Work rotational shifts and collaborate effectively with team members.

Compensation

The stipend offered ranges between INR 18,000 to 19,000 per month.
