Production Manager – Fly Ash Brick Plant

Skyward Concricks Private Limited has been manufacturing fly ash bricks, blocks, concrete bricks, and composite ash bricks in Kolkata for roughly a decade. Its products are used by major construction companies and in well-known projects across the region.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, immediate-opening position for a Production Manager at a fly ash brick plant in Madhyamgram, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. The role calls for a person with practical experience in brick or block manufacturing who can independently handle production planning, machinery supervision, and workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and monitor daily production so output and quality goals are achieved.
• Control the use of raw materials such as fly ash, cement, sand or stone dust, and gypsum or lime, while maintaining the correct mix proportions.
• Supervise brick-making machinery, pan mixers, and hydraulic presses, including regular upkeep and operational checks.
• Assign work to plant staff, manage shifts, and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
• Oversee curing, stacking, and movement of finished bricks for dispatch.
• Keep production logs and inventory registers up to date and share reports with management.
• Promote safe working practices and reduce material loss, wastage, and breakage.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in production, ideally in a fly ash brick, concrete block, or cement products facility.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and plant machinery.
• Capability to manage labour and run production operations independently.
• Basic documentation and record-keeping ability; familiarity with registers or Excel is preferred.
• Must be willing to live at the factory premises, as on-site stay is required.
