Role summary
Dollar General Media Network is looking for a Product Strategy & Operations Analyst to help turn product and operations plans into day-to-day execution. This remote role supports the growth and efficiency of DG Media Network by coordinating launches, maintaining operational routines, improving documentation, and helping keep processes running smoothly. In addition to execution, the position also contributes to future planning by reviewing trends, identifying opportunities, and sharing insights that shape product and operational priorities.
What you will do
- Carry out ad product and operations work that supports growth, scalability, and daily effectiveness, including handling revenue-related data accurately and on time.
- Track operational routines, measure follow-through, and help ensure consistency across teams.
- Support the product and capabilities roadmap by gathering inputs, organizing requirements, and keeping timelines and dependencies visible.
- Work with cross-functional partners to coordinate testing, launch readiness, and rollout activities for new features and enhancements.
- Review stakeholder feedback, performance metrics, and market or industry information to surface gaps, risks, and opportunities.
- Create, update, and refine process documentation, workflows, and operational materials to improve efficiency as the business grows.
- Contribute to a collaborative, client-first environment with strong accountability, precision, and a practical problem-solving approach.
Requirements
- Experience in retail media, digital advertising, or commerce media platforms.
- Background working across Product, Sales, Activation, or Marketing teams.
- Ability to handle both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving and changing environment.
- Basic understanding of digital media, retail media networks, or advertising technology.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage several priorities at once.
- High attention to detail and disciplined follow-through in documentation and operations.
- Ability to work independently while spotting and escalating risks or dependencies early.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Candidates without relevant product, operations, or media experience may not be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Operations, or a related discipline.
- About 2+ years of experience in product operations, business operations, marketing, or a similar role.
- Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives, operational processes, or product workflows.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with onsite ad products such as Sponsored Products or Display.
- Experience supporting or developing advertiser-facing solutions.
- Exposure to retail, CPG, or agency environments.
- Background in retail media networks, ad technology, or digital marketing ecosystems.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary of $70,000.
