Overview
The Product Specialist will play a critical role in promoting and supporting the company's surgical product portfolio by delivering clinical and technical expertise to healthcare professionals. This position centers on meeting sales targets, fostering strong relationships with medical practitioners, performing product demonstrations and training, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Market and sell surgical products to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
- Consistently achieve assigned sales goals contributing to broader business objectives.
- Develop and sustain effective partnerships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other key healthcare personnel.
- Deliver engaging product presentations, demos, and in-service training sessions.
- Offer clinical and technical support during product evaluations and surgical operations as needed.
- Identify growth opportunities and craft strategies to enhance market share.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and client requirements, reporting insights to management.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, customer visit summaries, and related documentation promptly.
- Collaborate internally to ensure smooth order processing, product availability, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in medical conferences, workshops, and exhibitions to showcase products and expand professional networks.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, ethical guidelines, and healthcare regulations.
- Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Surgical Division Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduation in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Medical Laboratory, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or allied healthcare disciplines.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in medical device or surgical product sales.
- Proven expertise with Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, and Laparoscopic (Minimally Invasive) Surgery products.
- Preferred experience supporting operating room activities and surgical procedures.
- Deep understanding of surgical devices and healthcare industry dynamics.
- Ability to drive and willingness to undertake frequent travel; Saudi driving license is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient in both English and Arabic languages in spoken and written forms.
- Strong aptitude for business development and expanding customer base.
