Product Owner - Supply Chain and Purchasing

Overview

This position entails serving as a Product Owner or Technical Project Manager responsible for guiding the product roadmap specifically focused on Supply Chain and Purchasing functions. The role is remote within the United States and is initially a contract-to-hire engagement expected to last about six months.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full ownership of the product roadmap related to Supply Chain and Purchasing domains.
• Effectively prioritize the backlog along with various business initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to align objectives and deliverables.
• Convert business requirements into clear, actionable tasks and specifications.
• Lead ongoing efforts to enhance and refine the product continuously.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Project Manager.
• Demonstrated background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, or Materials Management.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and backlog administration.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to manage various stakeholders effectively.
• Knowledge of SAP Materials Management or related Supply Chain software is advantageous.
• Must have a strong willingness to transition into a permanent employee role following the contract phase.
