Role Overview
This role is for an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant working remotely based in or near Knoxville, TN, with the expectation of up to two quarterly onsite visits. Candidates living locally or within a two-hour radius are preferred, however remote candidates must be willing to travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert Organizational Change Management guidance drawing from over five years of experience.
- Support complex, large-scale business transformation projects by evaluating current and intended future processes.
- Analyze organizational impacts resulting from change initiatives and effectively develop related management strategies and plans.
- Engage and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Construct and implement communication plans designed to facilitate organizational change.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive alignment amid ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
- Facilitate consensus-building among diverse stakeholders and various business units.
- Contribute to transformation initiatives in legal, procurement, regulatory, or workforce domains.
- Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills focused on successful change adoption and positive business outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of five years professional experience in Organizational Change Management roles.
- Proven history of involvement with large-scale business transformations.
- Expertise in business process assessment, both current and future states.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and strategic communication development.
- Ability to function effectively in fast-paced and uncertain working environments while facilitating alignment.
- Experience with change programs affecting sectors such as legal, procurement, regulatory, or workforce transformation.
- Excellent communication skills and aptitude for problem-solving and organization with a focus on change adoption and business results.
Additional Information
This position is offered as a contract role with remote work flexibility. Periodic travel to Knoxville, TN, is required for onsite collaboration. Preference will be given to candidates residing within two hours of Knoxville due to travel necessity.
