Job description
Job purpose
This role is responsible for leading multiple LMS-related initiatives at the same time, making sure they are delivered within scope, timeline, and cost limits. The position also ensures that the final solution aligns with technical specifications and design expectations.
Requirement gathering
The role involves understanding business needs and translating them into the right technical changes for LOS/LMS enhancements and updates.
- Build a clear understanding of business needs and convert them into technical requirements for LOS/LMS changes and enhancements.
- Obtain formal sign-off on requirement documents from operations, product, credit, and finance teams.
Digital application change management
- Plan and manage JIRA sprints and releases for LOS and LMS applications.
- Maintain the JIRA workflow for all change requests related to the LMS application.
Digital operations and process support
- Support responses to audit queries linked to the core LMS platform.
- Help ensure that the digital LMS application does not attract audit observations.
Project management
The position requires strong execution discipline to ensure project quality and deadlines are consistently met.
- Create detailed project plans.
- Track progress against plans to keep work on schedule.
- Review deliverables to ensure the expected quality is achieved.
Stakeholder management
The role calls for active coordination with internal teams so that work moves smoothly across functions.
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Regularly exchange inputs with stakeholders to improve outcomes.
- Secure agreement, approval, and alignment from stakeholders on project decisions and adjustments.
- Keep stakeholders informed about project progress and status.
Partner management
This position also includes managing technology partners so that targets are met within planned budgets.
- Evaluate products and vendors to identify suitable technologies and partners.
- Work closely with vendor partners and manage those relationships effectively.
- Establish and operate governance processes with partners.
- Ensure vendors maintain strong service quality, cost efficiency, and policy compliance.
Vendor management
- Identify and source vendors by comparing quotations, pricing, delivery timelines, capabilities, and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, resources, and service terms with vendors.
- Review and approve effort estimates and budget spends for efficient use of allocated funds.
- Manage vendor relationships, assign work, assess performance, control costs, reduce vendor risks, and ensure service delivery.
