Job description
Role overview
H&M is seeking a Product Merchandising Lead to coordinate product merchandising execution across sales markets. The role focuses on using stock, demand, and sales information to keep availability high, maintain balanced inventory, and support strong commercial results.
You will serve as an important bridge between sales markets, supply planning, inventory optimisation, and warehouse teams, making sure product, stock, and business priorities stay aligned throughout the flow.
What you will do
- Serve as the main point of contact for sales markets on product merchandising, stock, allocation, and replenishment matters.
- Review sales, demand, and inventory data to spot risks, opportunities, and actions that need attention.
- Contribute to pricing maps, markdowns, clearance activity, and campaign decisions by considering local competition, demand, and stock levels.
- Track supply against demand and communicate insights together with recommended corrective steps.
- Manage allocation and replenishment processes from warehouse to store, including stock balancing, replenishment changes, and seasonal stock measures.
Who you will work with
You will partner closely with commercial teams in the sales markets, supply planning, inventory optimisation, warehouses, store teams, and global stakeholders. Together, you will support coordinated commercial and supply decisions across markets with an emphasis on availability, stock efficiency, sales, and profitability.
Who you are
The ideal candidate brings 2 to 4 years of experience in product merchandising, retail planning, allocation, replenishment, or commercial operations within retail, fashion, or FMCG. Strong analytical ability and confidence in interpreting sales, stock, and demand data are essential.
You should have a sound understanding of retail and product merchandising processes, good Excel skills, and an interest in BI or reporting tools such as Power BI. A degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, economics, data analytics, or a related field is an advantage, though relevant experience carries equal weight.
We are also looking for someone who is structured, detail-focused, accurate with data, and able to communicate clearly across teams, functions, and markets. A commercially minded, proactive, solution-oriented approach is important, as is the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
