Role Overview

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will spearhead marketing strategies for assigned product portfolios. Collaborating globally across product and revenue divisions, you'll transform complex technical content into distinctive messaging that highlights Seequent's advantages and appeals to target customers. Your focus will encompass the entire customer journey from acquisition through retention, ensuring customer insights drive all activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement an adaptive product marketing plan.
  • Lead go-to-market initiatives and oversee successful product launches.
  • Perform comprehensive market, competitor, and customer research to shape marketing approaches.
  • Work closely with product, design, customer experience, and regional teams to align objectives and synchronize strategy execution.
  • Create precise and compelling product positioning and messaging.
  • Liaise with Digital and Field Marketing teams to execute impactful campaigns.
  • Empower internal teams to consistently communicate product messaging effectively.
  • Develop engaging content such as solution briefs, white papers, and sales playbooks for diverse audiences.
  • Establish and maintain detailed buyer personas.
  • Participate in product naming and commercialization decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Customer Marketing to boost product adoption, usage, and customer loyalty.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Over 7 years' experience in Product Marketing, ideally within B2B software or SaaS sectors.
  • A degree in business, geosciences, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Proven capability in developing global campaign content.
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B buyer personas and customer buying cycles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong project management skills for handling marketing campaigns and launches.
  • Ability to analyze customer and product data for informed decision-making.
  • Creative strategic thinker open to innovative approaches.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and managing external vendor partnerships.
  • Capability to build rapport and influence senior leadership.

Additional Information

This position is based onsite at either Christchurch, New Zealand or Vancouver offices. Occasional international travel and meetings outside regular hours may be required to coordinate with peers across time zones.
