Role Overview
As the Product Marketing Lead, you will spearhead Sonder's go-to-market (GTM) strategies for both new and existing products and solutions. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this cross-functional and strategic role involves aligning customer needs and market intelligence with product evolution. You'll craft positioning, messaging, and launch approaches that drive growth and distinguish Sonder in the market. Collaborating closely with Product, Growth, and Commercial teams, you will ensure the successful introduction of features, internal enablement, and compelling storytelling to clearly communicate Sonder's value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and execution of GTM strategies for product launches and updates
- Define and manage product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across solution lines
- Convert customer insights and market data into actionable marketing strategies
- Coordinate with Product and Commercial teams to align releases with organizational objectives
- Work alongside Creative and Growth departments to create assets and campaign materials
- Support thought leadership content and case studies to reinforce market presence
- Track and optimize GTM campaign performance leveraging data-driven insights
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in product marketing, solution marketing, or GTM strategy roles
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling SaaS products or digital solutions
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and copywriting abilities
- Proven skill in translating product features into customer-focused value
- Experience collaborating effectively with Product, Sales, and Growth teams
- Strong analytical mindset with an emphasis on data-informed decision making
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
