Role Overview
The position is for a Product Manager based in Abu Dhabi, tasked with managing and enhancing the bank's liability products. The incumbent will collaborate closely with distribution and sales channels alongside support units to expand the retail liabilities portfolio, while assisting the Head of Liabilities in achieving balance and revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Liabilities in crafting and executing business development strategies and marketing initiatives aimed at fulfilling the bank's goals.
- Design, plan, and roll out comprehensive products and campaigns to attract new customers, boost liability balances, and minimize attrition.
- Continuously monitor daily liability product performance, generate reports, forecast portfolio trends, and advise on strategic actions.
- Formulate and apply competitive pricing strategies to ensure products remain attractive and affordable.
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends proactively to inform business direction.
- Coordinate efforts across sales channels and support units to amplify deposit portfolio growth.
- Assist the Head of Liabilities with regular sales performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with branch offices and sales channels to ensure consistent understanding and compliance with liabilities product policies, procedures, and promotional activities.
- Provide strategic support on key projects and initiatives, including product development for international branches.
- Work in tandem with relevant units, teams, and departments to facilitate all necessary activities.
Required Expertise and Knowledge
- Advanced analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of liabilities-related revenue and fee income.
- High proficiency in Management Information Systems (MIS), including excellent Excel skills and familiarity with standard computer software.
- Robust understanding of the UAE market dynamics.
- Basic knowledge of financial principles and budgeting processes.
- Substantial experience in product development processes.
- Familiarity with Islamic Banking principles and practices.
