About the Role
HDFC Securities is developing advanced trading and investment solutions accessible via both Mobile and Web platforms. We seek an experienced Product Manager familiar with the requirements of active traders and investors who can convert business challenges into user-friendly digital products.
You will be responsible for managing major segments of the trading process, ranging from discovery through execution to portfolio management. This position involves close collaboration with Engineering, Design, Quality Assurance, Business, Marketing, Growth, and Analytics teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong product management insight combined with thorough brokerage industry knowledge and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from initial discovery to successful launch.
- Handle core trading modules including Watchlist, Order Pad, Order Book, Positions, Portfolio, Funds, and Reports.
- Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, wireframes, and process flows.
- Collaborate closely with Technical, Quality Assurance, Design, Business, Marketing, and Growth teams.
- Leverage customer insights, data analytics, and metrics to guide product decisions.
- Continuously monitor feature usage and enhance user experience accordingly.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of Product Management experience specifically in stock broking platforms.
- Comprehensive understanding of Equities, Derivatives, and Mutual Fund products.
- Experience with Mobile and Web-based trading products.
- Familiarity with trading charts.
- Practical experience using APIs, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating Client APIs, Algo Trading systems, and WhatsApp functionalities.
- Exposure to personalization techniques, analytics tracking, and data-driven approaches to product development.
