Product Manager of AI Applications, Global Public Sector

Role overview

Scale’s Global Public Sector organization is expanding quickly, and this role offers the chance to help shape high-impact AI work for governments and government-supported organizations outside the United States. The team partners closely with customers to understand their challenges, then designs and delivers custom solutions using their proprietary data and domain expertise.

You will help turn real-world needs into tailored AI applications built on the Scale GenAI Platform, a full-stack system used to create, test, and deploy advanced AI agents.

• Creating bespoke AI applications for public sector use cases
• Developing custom large language models
• Supporting research and government institutions with high-quality training data for LLM development
• Building partnerships that encourage regional AI adoption and talent development

What you will do

As a product leader on this team, you will own major AI initiatives for one or more customers and guide them from early concept through delivery. The role calls for a strategic thinker who can also work closely on execution, collaborate deeply with technical teams, and keep customer needs at the center of the work.

• Run design workshops with clients to shape customized AI solutions
• Identify and define new AI application opportunities across government organizations
• Drive cross-functional delivery of AI applications and custom LLMs with engineering, operations, and go-to-market partners
• Regularly engage future users to gather feedback and refine priorities
• Keep current with developments in applied AI and custom LLM training
• Define evaluation datasets and success criteria, review model performance, and improve the solution over time
• Provide ongoing status updates to clients and Global Public Sector leadership

Candidate profile

The ideal hire is entrepreneurial, highly experienced, and comfortable leading complex technical product work. You should bring strong AI/ML product development experience, a deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals, and the ability to communicate clearly with varied stakeholders.

Required background

• At least 4 years of product-building experience, including the most recent 1 to 2 years focused on AI-powered products
• A strong technical foundation, ideally through a STEM degree and/or experience building technical software products
• Solid knowledge of generative AI technologies and how they are used in enterprise and consumer products
• Hands-on familiarity with vibe coding tools such as Replit, Lovable, or Bolt, along with design tools such as Figma, Canva, or Miro
• Strong leadership, presentation, and communication abilities, with the confidence to influence cross-functional teams

Nice to have

• Python coding experience
• Ability to read, write, and speak Arabic
