Job description
Overview
Amazon Business India is building solutions for the Indian B2B market, which includes around 63 million micro and small businesses as well as roughly 0.5 million medium and large enterprises, with annual spending estimated at $400B. The team is focused on creating an online buying experience that works for business customers, whose needs differ significantly from those of individual shoppers.
Although Indian consumers already value Amazon for convenience, broad selection, and competitive pricing, many businesses still do not view e-commerce as a dependable or preferred buying channel. This role is part of the effort to close that gap by making business purchasing as simple, trustworthy, and cost-effective as consumer shopping.
Role summary
This position owns the initiative to materially improve the enterprise procurement journey by working closely with engineering, product teams in India and globally, marketing, operations, legal, accounting, tax, and finance. The roadmap will include both India-specific innovations and adaptations of global product capabilities.
You will be expected to rethink the full customer journey, including browsing, product selection, pricing display, checkout, payment, delivery, and returns, while also helping build business-focused features such as approval flows, GST compliance, multi-user accounts, and spend analytics.
The environment combines the pace and ambiguity of a startup with the scale of a larger organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling complex, cross-functional work, using data to guide decisions, and developing strong business cases.
Basic qualifications
- At least 2 years of product management experience.
- Background in managing technical products or online services.
- Experience in product, program, or project management while leading cross-functional teams to deliver major new products or services.

- Experience creating and evaluating cost-benefit scenarios and business cases, and sharing findings across the organization.
