Job Location and Work Arrangement

This position is based in Charlotte, NC with a hybrid schedule, requiring four days per week onsite. Candidates must reside in Charlotte and commit to the office presence requirement.

Role Overview

The Product Manager will take full ownership of the PRORUN product lifecycle, serving as the key interface between international manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and U.S. sales teams. This role focuses on driving product strategy, optimizing pricing, and ensuring operational readiness from production through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and pricing comparisons to identify emerging market trends and opportunities.
  • Shape the product roadmap by identifying gaps and suggesting new products to complement the portfolio.
  • Establish competitive and profitable pricing models by analyzing market dynamics and price sensitivity.
  • Monitor product margins and financial performance across the business unit.
  • Manage technical documentation by editing and localizing product manuals, packaging, and other materials from international manufacturers, ensuring clarity and professionalism for U.S. customers.
  • Oversee supply chain processes, collaborating closely with operations to forecast demand accurately and plan inventory effectively in a long-lead international environment.
  • Create, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures for the entire product lifecycle, including pre-launch checklists and go-to-market plans well in advance of product arrival.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally among sales, operations, and manufacturing to align product strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational capabilities to track international orders, manage shipment delays, and proactively resolve internal requests until completion.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) industry is mandatory.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a hands-on approach and eagerness to dive into detailed execution tasks independently.
  • Strong business insight, including a solid grasp of supply chain logistics, margins, and managing profitable business units.
  • Data-savvy with the ability to utilize analytics effectively for product decisions, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting.
